    Description

    This china head doll was made in Germany around 1890, posdibly by Hertwig or Kister.  She is 16" tall.  Her head is slightly turned.
    She has an old kid body that may or may not be original to her. The age of the body is about the same time period as the head, but these were made over a long period of time.
    She is wearing a vintage cotton dress, petticoat and pantaloons trimmed in lace. Her black boots are contemporary.
    I can detect no cracks, hairlines or chips to the china.
